International Cancer Day

In order to observe the International cancer day our department, the staff and students visited CSI Neyyoor, International cancer centre on 04/02/2020. There were 36 cancer patients in the ward. They are struggling for their life. The hospital management showed the different treatment for the cancer patients. The staff and students felt very sad to see the patients. On behalf of the department food and apple to all the patients. The department HOD Dr.C. Amose prayed and distributed the food items and fruits. The hospital management thanked the management of Muslim Arts College and students.

Visit to Bishop Gnanadhasan

Gnanadhasn Arivu illam in 31/01/2020. There were 65 students in the Arivu illam. The staff and students of public Administration learnt the different methods of learning. On behalf of the department a donation was given to the students. After that we returned from the Arivu illam.

Visit to Blind School

The staff and students of department of Public Administration visited Blind School Irrennipuram on 24/01/2020. We started form our college on the above date at the 10.45 am by the college bus. We met the staff and students of the blind school. The students of our department learn the life and study about the braily method of study. On behalf of the department a donation was given to the correspondent of the school. He thanked the management and staff of the college.

Christmas Day Celebration

In order to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a cultural programme was organized by the Public Administration department on Twenty third December the prgramme started at 10 am on 23/12/2019 at our department. All the students form I year, II year, and III year participated in the programme. The programme started with a Christmas song by the staff members. Dr. C. Amose the HOD of the department preside over the meeting and gave the presidential address. The following programme were conducted by staff and students.

U.N Day- Celebration

United Nation Day – celebration was conducted by the department of public administration on 24/10/2019 at 2.P.M. Lion. Dr.H. Mohammed Ali preside over the meeting and gave the presidential address. The Joint secretary Mr. Absal Fizal gave the felicitation. Dr. also participated and gave the speech on U.N.O. The HOD Dr. C.Amose welcomed the gathering.After the speech prizes were distributed to all the above students. Prof. Paul Immanuvel Assistant Professor of public administration gave the vote of Thanks. The meeting came an end with the National Anthem.

Vigilance Awareness Programme (Anti – Corruption)

The vigilance awareness programme was conducted on 30/10/2019 at English department at 10 am. Dr. Robinson the English department HOD welcomed the gathering. Dr. C Amose public Administration HOD spoke about anti corruption. In his speech, he pointed out the corruption prevailing in India form top to bottom. He asked the students not to buy or give bribes. Er.A. Ida Besyl the Administrative officer, United Insurance Thuckalay spoke about the vigilance Awareness and corruption. She asked the students to take pledge. All the students take pledge. At the end of the programme. Gave the vote of thanks. The meeting came to an end smoothly.

150th Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration

The Gandhi Jayanthi celebration and Releasing of hand written manuscript entitled ‘Gandhiji’ : “The Designer of our Destiny” function was held on 01.10.2019 at 2.p.m at on Department. Lion Dr. H. Mohammed Ali the Secretary of our college preside over the meeting. Mr. Abzal Fiaz Vice / Joint secretary, and Dr.G.Edwin Sheela the Principal gave felicitation and released the hand written manuscript Dr. Herold Wilson, the Head master of Govt School Kodiyoor was the Chief guest. He spoke about Gandhi’s role and his family’s role in the freedom struggle.

Dr. C. Amose the H.O.D. of Public Administration, Staff and students of Public Administration made all arrangements. The department of Arabic students and staff also participated in the 150th Gandhi Jeyanthi programme. The programme was well arranged and well organized.

‘RACE’ Coaching Programme

I.A.S. and other competitive exams Coaching programme was held on 23.09.2019 at the Research Centre at 2.00 p.m. RACE centre Mr. John Bosco, Chief Executive Officer gave the speech on various competitive programmes. Mr. Saravanan the Trainer also spoke on how to achieve in the life and get a job. Dr. C. Amose, H.O.D. of Public Administration welcomed and gave the speech on the importance of competitive exams. Students from other departments also participated. There were 67 students participated and benifited. The programme came to an end at 3.30 with the National Anthem.
